Make the classroom come to life by incorporating a field trip to the Children’s Museum of Brownsville! Our field trip package is ideal for K3 – 2nd grade classes and includes an hour and a half self guided exploration of all of our exhibits with an option to let book our Imagination Playground. Your imagination is sure to go wild with these oversized building blocks you are sure to stimulate your creativity.

Admission is $6.00 a person with group discounts available under 120 students. All exhibits and presentations are aligned with Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) standards.

STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) Field Trips are available for grades 3-5.  Students will get to experience fun, hands on activities that will spark creative thinking and an interest in STEAM subjects.  Students will build robots, participate in an engineering challenge, learn about the digestive system, and create some fun and unique Math Art.

The museum is located in the beautiful Dean Porter Park where lunch may be enjoyed after your visit. The park is equipped with an outdoor covered pavilion filled with picnic tables. Outside bathrooms and water fountains are also available if needed. The park is filled with lush green grass and a playground for the kids to enjoy.

Please note that in March, we will not be accepting field trips for the week of spring break.
